So this isn’t a job but more like an event we participate in that is just amazing!  Flashes of Hope is a national non profit organization that gives children with cancer a chance to have beautiful professional photos taken.  It is a worthy and emotional cause that is near to our hearts in so many ways.

These portraits were taken at Camp Sunshine, another incredible organization, that provides year round activities for children and families affected by cancer.

We really cannot express what a joy it is to be able to give back like this with our work.  Take a look at he images below of some incredible kids.

Thank you, thank you, for allowing us be a part of this in some small way!

Now this makes us want to work at Cox!

Just kidding, we love our jobs here, but the good folks at Cox sure do have a lot of fun.

Just look at the turnout for their Annual Services Summit at Cox Headquarters!

Now what is a Services Summit you might ask?  Well, basically the lucky Cox employees get wooed by lots and lots of vendors and partners who tell them all about fabulous discounts and giveaways!  Not too shabby!

There were so many great vendors that we couldn’t possibly list them all but to name a few pictured here… Coca-Cola, Honest Tea, Gigi’s Cupcakes and Kudzu!

And to make it even more of a party Cox’s Radio Kiss 104.1 played some tunes and everyone got to get their groove on in the middle of the workday!

All in all a great place to work.  Thanks for having us!

So many of our events benefit a great cause and this one is another doozy.  Fun, sun, music and choppers all came together to celebrate public service personel from across Georgia and support traumatic injuries treated at Grady Health System, metro Atlanta’s premier Level 1 trauma center.

The ride which began at Killer Creek Harley Davidson, also benefited Gold Shield Foundation of Metro Atlanta, an organization dedicated to assisting surviving spouses and dependent children of law enforcement officers or firefighters harmed in the line of duty.

The outdoor, all‐day event was themed “Music & Motorcycles” and brought participating bikers, bands and fans downtown to the Hard Rock Cafe’s hotly anticipated MusicFest event.

MusicFest, which was open to all 500+ ride participants, featured live performers on an outdoor main stage on Peachtree Street and at the Hard Rock’s Velvet Underground. Mother’s Finest headlined the event that also featured Atlanta legend Yacht Rock Revue and southern rock band Six Shot Revival.

We had an awesome time, thanks to all who participated!

We are THRILLED to again be a part of graduation for the The Ron Clark Academy!  Between the excited graduates, the awesome stage presence of Ron Clark and the fun surprise guests- you will be hard pressed to find a better graduation anywhere!

Here is a snippet about the graduation from Rodney Ho’s blog post in the AJC:

It was a touching three hours, full of inspirational speeches and videos, plus appearances by Bow Wow, Nelly and actor Brandon Jones, who was in the original movie “The Ron Clark Story.”

Near the end, Fantasia popped up to sing “I Believe,” her coronation song on “Idol” in 2004. I can’t say she performed it with the passion of 2004 but she did tell them that she regretted dropping out of school. She spent her early post-”Idol” years struggling with finances, partially because of her lack of education, she said. Her daughter, believe it or not, is now almost 10 years old!

The PeachBuzz also featured the event HERE

We are so happy to be a part of this day- but with all the celebrities this day really is all about the kids!  I mean just LOOK at those smiles!

CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!!

OK- so it is not quite the dog days of summer yet, but we had one heck of a dog day in John’s Creek for the opening of America’s First Dream Dog Park by Beneful!

Last spring, Johns Creek, Ga., resident Pat McNeely and his four-legged friend Koda entered the Beneful WagWorld Dream Dog Park Contest, which invited dog owners across the country to share their ideas for the ultimate dog park. McNeely and Koda were crowned Grand Prize Winner of the first-of-its-kind contest and their ideas served as inspiration for a $500,000 makeover of their local dog park. Beneful unveiled the newly renovated Newtown Dream Dog Park at a celebratory event for the entire Johns Creek community.

The dog park renovation, which was managed by TV personality, contractor and design expert Jason Cameron, features many unique elements including a giant bone-shaped ramp, tunnels, water splash pads, a jogging trail and shade trees.
