What an honor it was to be around this interesting group of people at the annual Association for Healthcare Philanthropy conference last October!

At The Westin Peachtree Plaza, six new members were honored as fellows- the highest level of achievement in the field of healthcare philanthropy.

Jerry A. Linzy accepted the Harold J. (Si) Seymour award, the AHP’s highest honor, which recognizes distinguished leadership in Association affairs.

The AHP advocates advancement of nonprofit health care institutions and organizations through the enhancement of its members’ performance and professionalism.  More information can be found here.

We get to work with the generous people at Cox all year long, and this was a particularly perfect day to get your hands dirty.

They are always volunteering at something– this time was at the Reverand James Orange Oakland City Park in Atlanta in celebration of the first Team Cox Volunteer Day.

Over 200 Cox employees spent the day cleaning, landscaping, and painting at the park to help raise money for United Way of Greater Atlanta, Earthshare of Georgia and the Cox Employee Relief Fund

We love experiencing the giving spirit of these Cox employees!

Morehouse College hosted this event for young graduates in conjunction with 100 Black Men of America.

The panel was comprised of Cox Enterprises employees from different divisions and topics covered included advice on appealing to prospective employers in social media.

Students were also privy to a Q&A at the end.

What a great opportunity for recent grads of Morehouse!

The first lady of home decor (and so much more!) was at Home Depot last weekend for a lesson in decking the halls.  Employees at the Home Depot Service Center were privy to a private event with Martha Stewart herself.

The following day the general public, some of whom spent the night in line to see it, enjoyed a preview of the new product line and a decorating demonstration.
